Why this site exists
Searching "best Fire TV Stick" mostly surfaces two things: reviews written by people who've never touched the device, and apps promising thousands of channels for a few euros a month that were never licensed to stream any of it. We built this site to cut through both — real device comparisons, and only apps you can install straight from the Amazon Appstore.
How we test
- We buy the hardware. Every device in our comparison has actually run in our setup, not just read off a spec sheet.
- Licensed apps only. If an app isn't in the Amazon Appstore, or doesn't hold the rights to what it streams, it doesn't get recommended here — full stop.
- Fixes we've actually used. Our troubleshooting guides are steps we've personally used to solve freezing and buffering, not a generic copy-paste list.
